Ruben started his career by learning graphic design in Switzerland. Born in the digital age, he rapidly found out that designing books, posters and classic adverts was not enough for him. With a huge interest in technology and the internet, he quickly established himself as an Art Director in the highest regarded online agency in Switzerland. There he created award-winning interactive experiences like the famous "360° Langstrasse" project which was awarded with an HTML5 'Site of The Year'-award. From 2013 to 2014 he worked at UNIT9 London where he led projects for clients including Google, Nike and Ubisoft and also established a six-person design team.
Back in Switzerland he co-founded the company Y7K. There he creates digital products — simplistic, beautiful and from a user's perspective.
Besides his activities in the digital world he runs the Swiss culture magazine Quottom which is sold at more than 100 newsstands in Switzerland and Germany. Every issue contains exclusive artworks by more than 50 contributors from all around the world, including famous artists like Walter Pfeiffer or Art Director Mario Hugo.
